Funeral arrangements have been announced for 7-year-old Paris Nicole Morris Jones, who tragically lost her life in a UTV accident in Warren County on Saturday.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. at Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2715 Alcorn Drive in Vicksburg.
Visitation will take place Friday, Oct. 23, from 1 to 6 p.m. at CJ Williams Mortuary Center, located at 1625 Monroe St. in Vicksburg. Family hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m.
A balloon release honoring Paris will also be held Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Catfish Row Park. Those attending are asked to bring pink and white balloons and a candle. Pink and white attire is encouraged but not required.
Paris was a second-grade student at Vicksburg Catholic School who was known for her beautiful smile, joyful personality and love for others. She enjoyed ballet, soccer and jumping rope.
As family members, friends and the Vicksburg community prepare to say their final goodbyes, Paris will be remembered as a beautiful little ballerina whose life touched the hearts of many.
The family asks for continued prayers during this difficult time as they celebrate the life of a little girl who was taken far too soon.
