PCA and St. Al boys’ basketball teams picked up Friday night wins

Porter’s Chapel Academy and St. Aloysius boys’ basketball teams both emerged victorious in their Friday night games.

Porter’s Chapel Academy:

Porter’s Chapel Academy (PCA) claimed a decisive 70-55 win against Prairie View Academy. Taylor LaBarre shone for the Eagles, scoring an impressive 26 points. Noah Porter
showcased his skills with four steals, six assists, and 20 points. Ty Mack contributed 17 points and eight rebounds, while Gavin White and Jase Jung added four and two points
respectively.

With a current record of 12-5, PCA holds the No. 2 seed in District 4-3A for South State.

St. Aloysius:

Meanwhile, St. Aloysius(14-9), led by Anthony McCloud, secured a hard- fought victory of 54-50 against Providence Classical. McCloud(20 points) displayed his dominance with standout performances, while Korey Sims and Laken Bradley both added nine points. Carson Glees contributed six points, while Carter Henderson and Carson Henderson scored five and three
points respectively. Sadler Lambiotte played a vital role, securing eight rebounds and two points for the team.

The Flashes took a 40-11 loss.
