PCA defeated SIA 15-1 on Monday

Porter’s Chapel Academy’s baseball team dominated Sharkey-Issaquena Academy with a resounding 15-1 victory on Monday night.

The Eagles got off to a blazing start, scoring 11 runs in the first inning fueled by a double from Gavin Pugh, singles from John Wyatt Massey and Taylor LaBarre, and a string of walks. Taking advantage of SlA’s errors, PCA added four more runs, leading to a mercy rule victory after just three innings.

Gavin Pugh contributed 3 RBls, going 1 for 3 at the plate. Massey added two RBIs with a hit, while Azlin and LaBarre each drove in one run with their hits. Evan Gordon, Gavin White, Conley Johnston, and Chase Hearn also
chipped in with RBIs.

PCA will host SIA on Tuesday.
