PCA improved to 10-0 after defeating Wilkinson County Christian 58-8

Porter’s Chapel Academy football team improved to 10-0 on the season after crushing Wilkinson County Christian 58-8 on Friday.

The Eagles also broke the single-season school record for points(505) in a season as each of their six seniors scored touchdowns.

Jase Jung had nine carries for  87 yards and one catch for 57 yards while John Wyatt Massey threw six touchdowns and 207 yards.

Thomas Azlin ended the night with two catches, 76 yards and two touchdowns. Taylor LaBarre brought in 32 receiving yards and a touchdown from two catches while Ty Mack also had two touchdowns and 37 yards. Noah Porter scored a five yard touchdown.

Defensively, Hunter Simms led with 15 tackles and two tackles for loss. Azlin grabbed 14 tackles(3 for loss) and one sack. Conley Johnston racked up 11 tackles and a fumble recovery while LaBarre grabbed two interceptions, including a pick 6. Gavin Pugh also had a pick 6 in the win.

PCA will travel to play Prairie View Academy in their regular season finale on Friday.
