The Portrait Masters is an international accreditation program that recognizes excellence in portrait photography. Achieving Associate Level Accreditation signifies mastery in technical proficiency, artistic expression, and client experience.

The Portrait Masters Awards and Accreditation was launched in 2017. This bi-annual event allows professional portrait photographers worldwide to compete for best-in-category and earn accreditation towards levels of mastery. An international group of expert photographers evaluates all photography.

Through rigorous evaluation and assessment, Racheal has demonstrated a commitment to elevating the standard of portrait photography. With precision, creativity, and a deep understanding of light, composition, and emotion, she has captured moments that resonate with authenticity and beauty.

Racheal owns Bella la Vita Photography, an award-winning photographer with over 30 years of experience.  Her career was born in 1997 when she started photographing her oldest daughter’s headshots for pageants.  From there, others asked her to photograph their children and, eventually, weddings. She was a stay-at-home mom and decided to take the New York Institute of Photography’s correspondence course to learn the technical side of photography.  In 1997, she photographed her first wedding.

She photographed weddings for over 10 years.  In 2010, she decided to retire from weddings and focus more on portraits.  She renamed and rebranded her business from Racheal’s Photography to Bella la Vita Photography (Italian for beautiful life)

In November 2020, she was blessed to move her at-home studio into a beautiful studio located on Cherry St. in the heart of historic downtown Vicksburg.

She specializes in photographing women and photographs families, children, senior portraits, corporate headshots, personal branding, and more.
