Sculpture unveiling April 29 at Mulberry downtown

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Bellamare Development of Ridgeland will host a sculpture unveiling on Tuesday, April 29, at the Mulberry, 1310 Mulberry St., in downtown Vicksburg.

The sculpture, by artist James Kyle DeLong, was donated by Bellamare Development and is intended to celebrate the intersection of art, community, and riverfront culture.

DeLong, from Ridgeland, is a sculptor with a focus on metal works, he a recently became a member of the Craftmens Guild of Mississippi.

“We’re thrilled to share this piece with the people of Vicksburg,” said Anna Jane Stanley, a representative of Bellamare Development.

The event is free and open to the public. The unveiling is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.
