St. Al Junior High softball team defeated Tallulah Academy on Tuesday

The St. Aloysius Junior High softball team defeated Tallulah Academy 9-8 on Tuesday.

Bella Barnett finished with one hit and two RBIs while Madison Connelly, Addie G. Clay(1 RBI), Kennadi Blassingame(1 RBI), and Presley Carr all had one hit. Carr also scored the game-winning run after a hit from Barnett.

The Lady Flashes will travel to play Jackson Academy on Wednesday. They are currently 6-3-1 on the season under Head Coach Mike Foley.

The varsity team won 9-7 against Tallulah Academy last night as well.

The Junior High will play at 4 p.m. today and varsity will follow.
