VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Golding River Overlook is set for Monday, Sept. 14 beginning at 9 a.m.
The park, located at 505 Lee Street, is Warren County’s and the City of Vicksburg’s newest public recreational facility. The park has an unclose view overlooking the Mississippi River.
The Golding River Overlook is designed to be a place where the community can play, relax, gather and enjoy the beauty of the Mississippi River. The new facility features swings, children’s play equipment, public restrooms and a stage and amphitheatre designed to accommodate live music, plays, community performances and other events.
Whether you’re bringing the kids to play, enjoying an afternoon outdoors, or gathering with friends and neighbors for a performance, the Golding River Overlook offers a new space for residents and visitors to experience Vicksburg in a whole new way.
