Ronald Jermaine Wilson

Ronald Jermaine Wilson was arrested by U.S. Marshals early Thursday morning in Jackson.

A standoff with U.S. Marshals in Jackson early Thursday led to a foot chase and arrest, WLBT reports.

The Marshals were attempting to arrest Ronald Jermaine Wilson on an aggravated assault and felony warrant related to a shooting when he refused to come out of the building.

Jackson Police Department’s SWAT team was called out and as the group coordinated their response, Wilson allegedly escaped through a window.

U.S. Marshals’ Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force Inspector Carlos Cosby told WLBT Wilson started running but saw the SWAT team and changed directions. He was arrested shortly thereafter.
