Suspect Wanted For Abducting Woman’s Cat At Jackson Shopping Center
A woman in Jackson is distraught after a man stole her beloved cat named Smokey from her business, Bill’s Coin and Jewelry, in Jackson.
The suspect was getting his kids’ hair cut at King Kutz next door to her shop when he saw the cat, grabbed her, and put her into his trunk.
A barber working at King Kutz told the man that the cat belonged to the woman next door and told him not to take the cat.
Instead of listening, the man got into his car and said, “Well now I’ve got me a cat” and drove away.
Smokey is a part of the woman’s family. Her employees adore her, the neighboring businesses adore her, and she lives the spoiled life with her fancy litter box, expensive food, and toys all over the shop.
She is a beautiful gray color. Smokey is very friendly and sweet. She loves sitting on laps and being petted.
The owner of the cat filed a report with the Jackson Police Department and gave them security video of the suspect.
The incident happened Tuesday, November 21st at 8:13 p.m. The suspect vehicle appears to be a red Buick LaCrosse.
Bill’s Coin and Jewelry was closed at the time.

This cat is dearly loved and dearly missed, and the owners and Jackson police are doing everything they can to get her back home.
The owner said she is so thankful to King Kutz for telling her what happened with Smokey and Global Sector for getting all of the surveillance video for them!
