Tea Time at Martha Vick House May 3 & May 4

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The historic Martha Vick House will host a “Tea Time” event May 3–4, offering guests a chance to enjoy an elegant afternoon tea in one of Vicksburg’s most storied homes.

Guests can choose from three seating options: May 3 at 11 a.m. or 3 p.m., and May 4 at 3 p.m. The event features a selection of homemade savories, scones and sweets served in the parlor of the 19th-century home, located at 1300 Grove St.

Tickets for the tea time are $45 each and are available for purchase online. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Dr. Jane Ellen McAllister Foundation.

Built by the family of the city’s founder, the Martha Vick House remains one of the last surviving structures tied to Vicksburg’s earliest history.
