National Telecommunicators Week is coming up in April. Vicksburg Warren 911 has several telecommunication professionals who work day and night to keep you safe. This series of articles will highlight each one.
This week we are featuring Samantha Mckenzie. With over a decade on the front lines, Sam’s life has been dedicated to serving her community.
As a 911 dispatcher, EMT, and firefighter, she has been there during people’s most urgent moments. Sam is the supervisor for the Bravo shift. When she’s not racing to emergencies, you can find Sam enjoying the great outdoors – hunting, fishing, and boating on the lake or river. She loves spending her free time off-roading in her Jeep and riding horses.
Sam enjoys the time she gets to spend with her boyfriend, kids, and fur babies. She grew up here in Vicksburg and attended Warren Central High School.
