Trey Hall named MACCC South Offensive Player of the Year

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Vicksburg native Trey Hall has been selected as the MACCC South Offensive Player of the Year. The news was announced on Wednesday on social media, with Hall and fourteen of his football teammates from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College making the All-MACCC Team.

Hall starred in all 10 games this season, with 1,098 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. He helped lead the Bulldogs to an 8-2 season. 

Hall’s Bio

MGCCC: As a freshman, Hall played in all 10 games, and ran 123 times for 883 yards and 7 touchdowns. He caught 3 passes for 16 yards and returned 9 kickoffs for 216 yards (24.0 ypr). Hall finished third in the NJCAA in rushing average (7.2 ypc) and fifth with 883 yards rushing and 88.3 yards/game.

Hall also led the MACCC in rushing average (7.2 ypc), was third in yards rushing (883) and yards per game (88.3), and fifth in rushing TDs (7). He was named to All-MACCC South Second Team. 

High School: As a senior, Hall had 149 rushes for 1,009 yards and 14 TD, with 38 catches for 415 yards and 5 TD. He was named to the MAC Class 6A All-State First Team and was The Vicksburg Daily News Offensive Player of the Year on the All-Warren County Team. 

Hall was also selected to play in Bernard Blackwell North-South All-Star Game. As a junior, he had 84 rushes for 470 yards and 2 TD, with 40 catches for 378 yards and 4 touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 41 carries for 355 yards and 4 TD, with 10 catches for 120 yards and 2 TD. Hall played for Coach Josh Morgan.
