VHS and St. Al finished with wins on Tuesday night

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg High School and St. Aloysius basketball teams came out with wins on Tuesday night. The Gators hosted Florence High School while the Flashes went on the road to defeat the Mississippi School for the Deaf.

VHS:

VHS came out on top 61-50 where they led the entire game. By halftime, the Gators managed to have a 37-18 lead.

The win consisted of VHS sharing the ball as freshman Jaquez Jones led with 13 points. Javeion Perkins added nine points in the win while Marlyn Foy and Kris Washington both scored eight points each. Brycen Jones and Mincer Minor IV both contributed seven points each while Jadarius Henderson put up six. Sedret Maxwell scored two points and DeCorey Knight Jr. hit a free throw.

The Gators are 3-3 on the season and they will host Natchez on Friday.

Lady Flashes:

The Lady Flashes won 57-11 over MSD where sophomore Megan Theriot showed out with 23 points and eight rebounds. Taryn Lusby put up 11 points and four steals while Annslee Averett had 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Mallory Hobson(10 rebounds) and Marley Gibellino(5 rebounds) both scored four points each while Elle Larson added three(nine rebounds) and Farrell Robinson(12 rebounds) scored two points.

St. Al Boys:

The Flashes took down MSD 66-27 where Anthony McCloud(10 rebounds) and Carson Gleese(eight rebounds) both scored 20 points each. Carter Henderson had eight points and seven rebounds while Tre Lee had four assists with his six points. John Hossley scored five points while Dru Gleese, Mac Connell, and Will Whittington all scored two points. 

Carson Henderson and Sadler Lambiotte(7 steals) both had four rebounds and five assists.
