VHS ninth grade basketball team defeated WC on Monday

Vicksburg High School ninth grade girl’s basketball team defeated Warren Central 45-16.

By halftime the Missy Gators were up 19-7 after  Raylyn Parson, Kenley Henderson and Nykeria Watson all hit some big shots. Kennedy McCoy came out in the second half and put up a few points for WC while Nakia Jeffers handled things for VHS.

Watson and Henderson led with 11 points each in the win while Jeffers and Parson put up 10. McCoy added eight points while S. Lewis and Maliya Croom both scored three points.
