Vicksburg High’s Kincaid named to Mississippi Association of Educators Board
JACKSON, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg High School head baseball coach Brandon Kincaid has been elected to the Mississippi Association of Educators Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term.
Kincaid, a graduate of Jackson State University, serves as the math lead for the Vicksburg Warren School District in addition to coaching the Gators baseball team. His new role on the MAE Board will allow him to help guide statewide policies and initiatives that support educators and students across Mississippi.
The Mississippi Association of Educators announced Kincaid’s appointment this week, along with April Larkin, a math teacher from the Lauderdale County School District, who will represent the East Central Region. Kincaid will represent the Capital Region.
MAE leaders praised the addition of both educators, noting their experience, leadership, and commitment to public education.
Kincaid said he looks forward to bringing his classroom and athletic experiences to the board, where he hopes to advocate for resources and opportunities that benefit all Mississippi students.
