Vicksburg’s Jeff Scott Jr. invited to play in the HBCU Pigskin Showdown

Vicksburg native Jeff Scott Jr. has been selected to play in the HBCU Pigskin Showdown.

Scott, a defensive back for Miles College, racked up 48 total total tackles, 32 solo tackles, six tackles for loss, 10 assists, eight pass deflections, one fumble recovery, 0.5 sacks and one interception in 2023. The Golden Bears also finished with a 7-3 record with the help of Scott.

The HBCU Pigskin Showdown will go from December 26-30 in Mobile, Alabama.
