VJHS improves to 10-0 after defeating Brandon

Vicksburg Junior High School boys’ basketball team blew out Brandon 48-17 on Thursday.

Jaquez Jones stayed on top of things by putting up 15 points and Deonta Selvy Jr. came away with 11. Corbin Walker hit two 3-pointers and finished with 10 on the board. Jordan Cruthirds added four points and Jaylen Stewart put up. K. Thomas hit one 3-pointer.

VJHS(10-0) will play Warren Central on Monday.
