Vicksburg’s Norman Price has been selected by the Houston Roughnecks in the 2024 UFL Draft

Vicksburg native Norman Price has been selected by the Houston Roughnecks in the 2024 UFL Draft.

Price, who recently played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL, was selected in the fourth round on Monday. The United Football League is a merger of the USFL and XFL which will consist of spring football.

Price is a 2012 graduate of Vicksburg High School where he played under Head Coach Alonzo Stevens.

Price played at Hinds CC before transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi. He would eventually go on to the NFL and play for San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers.

Price also played in the CFL for the Toronto Argonauts and the Calgary Stampeders.
