Vicksburg’s Rory Johnson to play in the Old Stars Game
Rory Johnson, a native of Vicksburg, has announced that he will participate in the Old Stars Game to be held in Germany.
Johnson will be playing his final football game since he recently retired from the German Football League. The announcement was made over the weekend, and Johnson is excited to play in this big game with other retirees later this year.
Johnson graduated from Vicksburg High in 2004 and played at Hinds Community College. He then transferred to Ole Miss and started his professional career with the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Berlin Rebels(2010-2013), Berlin Adler(2014), and Berlin Rebels(2015-2022).
After the Old Stars Game, Johnson will take over duties as the new defensive coordinator of the Saarland Hurricanes of the German Football League.
