The Vikings (14-6-1, 8-0) made it official with a strong all-around performance under head coach Randy Broome.

Ridgeland struck first, but Trace Hood answered with an RBI in the bottom of the opening inning to tie the game at 1-1. The score remained unchanged until the fourth inning when Ridgeland added a run to take a 2-1 lead.

Warren Central quickly responded with a five-run fourth inning. Justin Greer sparked the rally with a single, and after two walks, Landon Hasty and Ryan Steed each delivered RBIs to give the Vikings a 6-2 advantage.

The Vikings extended their lead to 8-2 with two more runs in the fifth inning.

In the sixth, Warren Central capitalized on a walk before Fabian Davenport and Steed both scored on a wild pitch. Greer later added another run on a passed ball to seal the 12-2 win.

Greer led the offense by going 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. Steed finished 2 for 4 with one RBI, while Tristan Jamison also doubled.

On the mound, Blake Caruthers struck out six batters to earn the win.
