Warren Central starts their inaugural flag football season with a 31-0 win over Greenville

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Ka’Ryn Henderson scored three rushing touchdowns to lead Warren Central High School to a 31-0 shutout victory over Greenville in the program’s inaugural flag football game Thursday night.

The Vikings earned the road win behind a balanced offensive effort. Tra’marianna Garrett, Shaniya Lewis and Samirya Fields each added a rushing touchdown, while Calleigh Barnette converted a point-after attempt.

Defensively, Warren Central controlled the game from start to finish. Camara Evans and Kadaja Williams each recorded interceptions to force turnovers. Kylee Chambers, Da’Mariya Cosby, Harmony Easter (two) and Malia Croom all registered flag pulls for loss.

The victory marks the first for head coach Brad Nolan.
