Warren County Arrests

WARREN COUNTY, MS. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Department provided information regarding arrests related to two recent incidents in the county.

On September 13, just after 9 p.m., Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Stubbs stopped a Toyota pickup on Highway 80, east of Bovina. After the stop, he was assisted by additional uniform patrol units and Investigator Dusty Keys. Upon a search of the vehicle Deputy Stubbs discovered approximately one (1) ounce of crystal methamphetamine.

The driver, Jesse Dustin Leist, 43, of Warren County, and the passenger/owner of the vehicle, Brandon Dax Freeman, 62, of Warren County, were both arrested.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Freeman was given a $10,000 bond. Judge Randy Lewis deferred bond on Leist.

On September 15, at around 3 p.m., a suspicious persons call was made for an address at the 1800 block of Ring Road.

The resident arrived to find the two individuals inside the home and had armed themselves with one of his own guns. The two suspects dropped the weapons and fled into the woods.

Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on the scene and were able to quickly locate the two individuals at approximately 3:20 p.m.

Ethan Paul Felder, 18, from Clinton, and an unnamed 16-year-old minor were arrested in the incident.
