WC crushed Moss Point 69-48 on Thursday

Warren Central High School boys’ basketball team defeated Moss Point 69-48 on Thursday in the JPS Tournament.

Gaylon Turner Jr. scored 26 points in the win and Jaylon Winters added 17. Garrett Orgas-Fisher contributed nine points while Larry Reynolds Jr. and Robert Williams both scored five. Ronnie Blossom added three points while Garrod Bunch and Teryn Green each had two.

On Wednesday, the Vikings took a 57-54 loss to Provine where Turner lead with 20 points. Roosevelt Harris Jr. scored eight points while Fisher and Green both finished with six.

The Vikings will travel to Ridgeland on January 9.
