WC hosts prayer walk for students and school leaders

Warren Central High School hosted a “Prayer Walk” for students and school leaders this morning.
About 50 people showed up at the school to “Shine light where there is darkness,” explained organizer Kelda Bailess. “As a community, we need to pray daily for our students, district leaders, school board, and administrators at the school level.”
Bailess organized the prayer walk after negative stories, including a video of a fight, were posted on social media. Bailess and other educators feel their school does many positive things, and they want to expose those instead of the bad news.
“For tomorrow, I want to focus prayer on our students, faculty, leaders, and the campus. Success, safety, endurance, and peace as we finish out this year!” said Bailess.
Attendees were encouraged to walk throughout the school, pray over the area, and ask for blessings.
