WC takes game one against Lake Cormorant

Warren Central High School baseball team took game one of the first round of the playoffs after defeating Lake Cormorant 1-0.

The Vikings earned the game’s solo run in the fourth inning when Maddox Lynch singled to bring Ryan Nelson home for the run as they went up 1-0. Conner Watkins struck out three batters in the win.

Ryan Nelson and Trace Hood also had a hit and WC will hit the road tomorrow to face LC in game two at 4:00 p.m.
