WCJHS Volleyball Takes Two Wins Over Vicksburg

Warren Central Junior High School’s volleyball team secured two victories over Vicksburg Junior High School, with the eighth-grade team winning in straight sets. The seventh-grade team also achieved a sweep, showcasing strong performances from both squads.

Warren Central Junior High School’s eighth-grade volleyball team earned a crosstown victory over Vicksburg Junior High School on Tuesday.

WCJHS Volleyball Victory Details

The Lady Vikes swept VJHS in two sets, winning 25-12 and 25-20.

Blakely Ferguson led Warren Central with 10 points and four aces, while Olivia Thompson finished with eight points and one ace. Lexie Layne Powers added seven points and three aces.

Vicksburg was led by D’ella Daniel with eight points and two aces, while Amber Jeffries recorded seven points and one ace.

Warren Central

  • Blakely Ferguson — 10 points, four aces
  • Olivia Thompson — eight points, one ace
  • Lexie Layne Powers — seven points, three aces
  • Olivia Maner — six points

Warren Central’s seventh-grade team also picked up a sweep over Vicksburg, winning 25-23 and 25-10.
