Vicksburg native Ernest Stevenson emerged victorious over Hunter Polk in a thrilling MMA bout last Saturday. Stevenson secured the win through a third-round unanimous decision.

The fight opened with Stevenson swiftly taking Polk down to the mat, resulting in a tangled exchange that persisted throughout the round. Polk managed to land two rapid right-hand
punches in the following round, only for Stevenson to respond with aggression by executing a powerful slam on his opponent. However, Stevenson received a warning for an
illegal knee to the face before the
round concluded.

Entering the final round, Stevenson unleashed a left hook and several jabs on Polk before taking him down once more. With just 40 seconds remaining, Stevenson delivered two decisive right blows that floored Polk as the clock ran out, securing his victory.

The intense matchup was hosted by the American Kombat Alliance in Marksville, Louisiana.
