Tyrique Willis named to the Mississippi State University spring 2024 Deans’ List

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Tyrique Willis, of Vicksburg, MS, was named to the Mississippi State University spring 2024 Deans’ List.

Willis is among 2,364 students who attained this honor.

Willis, a Warren Central Graduate, earned his undergraduate’s degree in finance this spring. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in project management

Tyrique is involved in several organizations. Men of Excellence, Black Students Association. Black voices, NAACP and National Association of Black accountants 

Chandra Willis, Tyrique’s mother, said her feelings could be summed up by a quote made by Thomas Edison. “The most certain way to succeed is always to try one more time.

To be named to the Deans’ List, a student must have achieved a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
