VJHS and VHS Freshmen boys picked up wins on Monday.

Vicksburg, Ms-Vicksburg Junior High School and Ninth Grade boys’ basketball team picked up wins on Monday night.

VJHS:

The Gators were at home and won 38-28 against Byram Middle School. Antwon Chiplin led VJHS with 18 points while Daylon Washington added 14 points. Clyde Mazie and Cayleb Logan both ended the night with six points each in the win.

VJHS will play against Warren Central Junior High on Thursday.

Ninth-Grade:

VHS took down Terry 56-47 on Monday night. Jayden Stewart led the Gators with 16 points while Deonta Selvy Jr. added 12. Jordan Cruthirds scored 11 points and Corbin Walker put up six points.

On Thursday, VHS will host Warren Central.
