Tuesday night highlights: Baseball and Softball Roundup

VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Vicksburg High School softball team, the VHS baseball team, St. Aloysius, and Warren Central baseball teams all lost Tuesday night. Here’s the scores and highlights from Tuesday night’s games.

VHS Softball:

The Missy Gators took an 11-8 to Yazoo County last night. The game remained close throughout the night but VHS fell short.

Lili Kisler(1 RBI) and Avery VanNorman went 2 for 3 at the plate while Shandrea Lockridge(2 RBIs), Camden McGloster, Harmony Harris, and MaKynzie Dunmore(2 RBIs) all had one hit each. Trinity McGloster struck out four batters.

WC baseball:

The Vikings took a 10–4 loss to Jackson Prep Tuesday night. Tristan Jamison hit two doubles and Trace Hood hit one double with two RBIs. Hayes Loper had two hits with one RBI while Charlie Roberts and Ryan Steed each had a hit. Nathaniel Moore struck out five batters.

VHS baseball:

Vicksburg High took a 15-5 loss to Brookhaven. Allan Allen and Mincer Minor IV both had one hit for VHS. Allen struck out three batters.

St. Al:

The Flashes took an 8-1 loss to TriCounty. Bradley went 2 for 3 at the plate. Clark Hobson struck out five batters.
