VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Eddie Mae Alice Ware Anderson, a Vicksburg resident passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, following a brief illness.  She was 69.  She had worked as a caregiver and nurse assistant.  She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her father Eddie Ware and her mother Paulina Kelly, her brothers John Issac Westbrook and George Wesley Blue.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters Selenia Mae (Late Charles Thomas) Thomas of Vicksburg, Natsha (Louis) Flenoid of Ethel, LA, Tommie (Ruthel) Paulina (Larry) Smoots all of Vicksburg, a daughter Mashona Turner and Son Jarvis Anderson both of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her devoted brothers Robert (Audre) Jackson of Vicksburg, Stafford Jr., Magallen (Toniya) and Carl (Penny) of Chicago, IL; her sisters Dorothy(James) Flozel, Collie, Eileen, and Anita all of Chicago, IL; her 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and family.

Funeral services are to be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Mt.. Pisgah Baptist Church, 2777 Bovina Cut Off Road, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Virdell Lewis, Jr officiating; interment shall follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, in the funeral home from 5 p.m. till 6 p.m.
