Warren County man indicted on child sex abuse charges

WARREN COUNTY, Miss.(VDN) — A Warren County man has been indicted by a grand jury in connection with three child sex abuse cases.

Albert Deon Jackson Sr. has been indicted on two counts of sexual battery of a victim under the age of 14. He has also been indicted on one count of statutory rape. Jackson was indicted as a habitual offender.

According to authorities, Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded on April 22, 2025, to the 2500 block of Culkin Road after receiving a report that a child had disclosed abuse. The child was transported to the River Region emergency room for further evaluation and treatment.

Investigator Zachery Primeaux led the investigation, which resulted in Jackson’s arrest on May 7 at his residence in the 300 block of Pleasant Valley.

Jackson has not yet gone to trial or entered a guilty plea. If convicted, he faces a possible life sentence in prison.
