Warren County receives replacement voting equipment at no cost to taxpayers
Warren County has received replacement voting equipment from VotingWorks at no cost to taxpayers. The new equipment will enhance the county’s election process while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
Warren County Circuit Clerk Jan Hyland Daigre announced that Warren County has received replacement election equipment from VotingWorks at no cost to Warren County taxpayers.
The replacement equipment was provided to replace certain existing voting equipment currently in use by the county. Because the equipment is being furnished as replacement hardware, no county funds are required for its acquisition.
On July 1, 2026, Daigre submitted a formal memorandum to the Warren County Board of Supervisors notifying the Board of the replacement equipment and request that the matter be entered into the official minutes.
“This replacement is important because it allows Warren County to continue providing reliable and properly supported voting equipment while doing so without an additional cost to our taxpayers,” Daigre said. “Maintaining dependable election equipment is an important part of our responsibility to Warren County voters.”
The replacement equipment will be incorporated into Warren County’s election equipment inventory and used in accordance with applicable state and federal election requirements.
Daigre emphasized that the Circuit Clerk’s Office will continue to work to ensure Warren County’s election process is secure, dependable and well prepared for each election.
