Two arrested in Halls Ferry Road shooting

Two individuals have been arrested by the Vicksburg Police Department in connection with a shooting on Halls Ferry Road that injured a 26-year-old man. The investigation continues as authorities gather more evidence from the scene.

The Vicksburg Police Department has arrested two people in connection with a Sept. 12 shooting on Halls Ferry Road that left a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Keandre Harris, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Janasha Tyler, 26, was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit a crime.

The arrests stem from an investigation into a shooting that occurred around 10:51 a.m. Sept. 12 at 2607 Halls Ferry Road.

Officers responding to the scene located evidence of a shooting in the parking lot near the gas pumps.

Shaquille Guise, 26, later arrived at an area hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for further treatment.

The investigation remains ongoing.
