Adoptable pet: Chibi the Chihuahua mix
If you’re looking for a small and sweet dog to complete your family pack, look no further because Chibi has got you covered.
Chibi is located at the City of Vicksburg Animal shelter where she is currently waiting to meet her perfect person. She’s been housed at the shelter for the last six weeks. Her name means “little” and “cute” which is exactly what she is. Like all Chihuahuas, this mixed-breed gal has a big personality although she’s also got a calmer nature than most. According to Kacie Lindsey, director of the Shelter, “she’s more laid back but is really sweet. She doesn’t jump up or get too excited.”
Chibi is about two years old. She has a creamy golden coat of fur and black around her nose. Lindsey has described Chibi as being a small breed on the larger end of the size spectrum. So far, she gets along just fine with other animals. Given her genealogy, Chibi will likely pick one special person to bond with and love for life.
If you or someone you know may want to adopt Chibi, please contact or visit the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter during operating hours. Adoption fees include vaccinations as well as a spay or neuter. If Chibi isn’t the perfect companion you’ve been searching for, there are plenty of other wonderful animals in need of homes to choose from.
