Alcorn football players selected to play in the HBCU Legacy Bowl
Alcorn State University football players Monterio Hunt and Jarveon Howard have been selected to play in the HBCU Legacy Bowl.
Howard, senior running back, recently finished his career at Alcorn with a total of 2,773 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns.
Hunt, a senior wide receiver, finished his career with 56 receptions, 1,013 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
Both Howard and Hunt were instrumental in the Braves’ 2023 season where Alcorn finished with a 7-4 record.
The HBCU Legacy Bowl will be held on February 24, 2024 in New Orleans at Yulman Stadium.
