All five VHS seniors shined in last night’s win

RIDGELAND, Miss. (VDN) — Five seniors, 13 hits, and 1 big win occurred last night as the Vicksburg High School softball team took down Ridgeland 20-8 in a district win. Each senior on the VHS roster played a key role in the victory that marks their fourth consecutive win.

Lili Kistler, Trinity McGloster, Makynzie Dunmore, Avery VanNorman, and Zion Harvey all put on a show in the away over the Lady Titans. The 2025 senior class paved the way for the Missy Gators to have their best performance at bat this season.
McGloster started things pitching and only allowed one hit which was in the fourth inning. Her key performance came from hitting where she had four hits.

Harvey caused havoc every time she touched the bat. She knocked out a 3-run home run and hit triple to finish with three hits and five RBIs.
Kistler also earned her recognition at-bat last night as she went 3 for 4 with one RBI. She also came in second to pitch and struck out three batters.

VanNorman’s first job was to frame the ball correctly, but she also stepped in to contribute at bat. She went 2 for 3 at the plate with one RBI and scored three runs.

Dunmore held the outfields down as she caught everything that came her way. She also ended the night with one hit and one run.
As a team, VHS had a total of 17 hits as plenty of members of the team stood their ground. The Missy Gators will travel to play Warren Central today In another district game.
