Bricks and Spokes cancelled, scheduled to return in 2025

VICKSBURG, MS – In an announcement made last week, the annual Bricks and Spokes has been cancelled in what would have been the 14th year of the event.

The annual bike tournament starts in downtown Vicksburg and then leads riders across the old Mississippi River Bridge. Last year, the event included a 23 mile Southern Heritage Air Museum ride, as well as a 10 mile, 30 mile, 50 mile and 62 mile ride.

In a post announced on Facebook, the organizers said the following:

“After much thought, we’ve made the decision to pause Bricks & Spokes this year. Our team is focusing on key projects and events that require significant resources and volunteer support, and while we would love to do it all, we’ve decided to prioritize where we can make the biggest impact this year. Bricks & Spokes remains a top priority, and we’re excited to bring it back in 2025 with even more excitement and energy. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—we can’t wait to ride with you next year!”
