Bubba Mims Memorial Golf Tournament Set for April 25

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Porter’s Chapel Academy will host the Bubba Mims Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, April 25, at the Vicksburg Country Club.

Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 1 p.m.

The event honors the legacy of the longtime coach, who was a beloved figure at Porter’s Chapel Academy and throughout the Vicksburg community. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Bubba Mims Memorial Scholarship.

Participants may register individually or as part of a four-person team. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 each. Donations to the scholarship fund are also welcome.
