Destanee Pearson is on her way to nursing school

The third time is the charm for Vicksburg’s Destanee Pearson as she begins her journey.

Destanee Pearson has begun her journey, once again, to go to nursing school. Pearson tried the first time just before the COVID pandemic and had to put it on hold. Then, on her second try she found out she was expecting her first child and chose to put it on hold again. Last week, the Key City Rooftop server found out she was accepted and will be going back to nursing school.

“I’m so excited about getting back to school,” said Pearson. “I love my job here at Key City and they are so supportive and happy for me. It is so nice to be appreciated and encouraged to follow your dreams.”
