Former Mississippi High School football star Peyton Davidson killed in Oklahoma

A former Mississippi High School football star was killed in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Peyton “Big Red” Davidson was at a Halloween party when he was shot in the eye.

“That victim was transported to a metro area hospital where, unfortunately, he succumbed to those injuries and was pronounced deceased,” said Kirk Dickerson, Assistant Police Chief of El Reno PD.

Delsin Joshua Tsotigh was arrested at the scene and charged with first degree murder.

Davisdson was 20 years old at the time of his death. His funeral is set for Saturday, and visitation will be held at the Quitman High School football field from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow at New Bethel cemetery.
