Yazoo County shooting on Sunday leaves three dead

YAZOO, MS. – Three people are dead in Yazoo County, two males and one female, after a shooting that occurred on Sunday night on Walker Road just after 9:30 p.m. The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department have not released the names of the victims at this time.

The information was initially released by Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department via a Facebook post. On September 1st at approximately 9:38 p.m., dispatch received a call in reference to a shooting that had taken place on Walker Road in Yazoo County. Upon arrival, deputies found 2 males and 1 female deceased from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. This is an ongoing death investigation. There are no other details that can be released at this time.
