Holmes County Central’s football team recently wrapped up an undefeated regular season on Friday after a 39-14 win over Canton.
According to MaxPreps, the Jaguars are the No.1 ranked team in 5A football as they sit with a current 11-0 record. Offensively, HCC is averaging 37.6 points per game and allowing 15.6 points per game on defense.
The Jaguars finished with a 7-5 record last year but they are now expected to go deep in the playoffs. They will host Corinth on Friday in the first round of the playoffs.
The Jaguars are coached by Marcus Rogers, who was once Vicksburg High School’s Head Coach. He is currently in his sixth year with the team.
