Vicksburg High School boys’ basketball team came out with a 61-39 win over Murrah on Saturday.
Davian Williams hit four 3-pointers in the second quarter as the Gators went up 28-21 at halftime. Kameryn Bailey and Jaylin Jackson stepped up and got on the board in the third quarter.
Sedret Maxwell and Khalib Minor both hit 3-pointers late in the game to help VHS take home the win.
Williams led with 22 points while Bailey put up 15. Lazaveon Sylvester scored eight points while Maxwell and Minor both had five on the night. Jackson added four points and Javeion Perkins finished with two.
The Gators will travel to play Brandon on Tuesday.
