Hattiesburg man arrested for robbery in a fatal shooting

On Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, Hattiesburg Police arrested a third suspect in connection to the Nov. 26, 2023, fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 200 block of South 29th Avenue.

Raytrell Alonzo Jones, 20, of Hattiesburg, has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery in relation to the deadly shooting incident. He has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
