Human remains found in Southaven

On Sunday, February 25, Southaven Police received a call about possible human remains located in the area of Central Park. Once on scene, Officers were able to determine that the remains were human.

The Desoto County Coroner made the scene and collected the remains. They will be sent to the Mississippi Crime Lab for further testing. Central Park will remain closed tomorrow as we continue to process the scene.
