‘I’m Not There’ and free popcorn at the Strand Theatre Saturday

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — In celebration of Dylan’s six-decade influence on music and culture, the Strand Theatre will screen Todd Haynes’ I’m Not There, a bold and imaginative exploration of the legendary singer-songwriter’s career, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 15.

The film is an opportunity for fans to experience the 2007 film that employs six different actors to portray Dylan’s various facets, acknowledging the many layers of his complex identity, including Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale, Richard Gere, and Heath Ledger.

Tickets for I’m Not There are $10, or $9 if purchased in advance at Highway 61 Coffeehouse, and as always, popcorn is free.
