Kimble put up 13 points to lead VJHS over Brandon

Vicksburg Junior High School girl’s basketball team finished Thursday night with a 27-21 win over Brandon.

Madisyn Kimble kept the Missy Gators on top by leading the team with 13 points. By halftime, VJHS had a 8-6 lead in the heavy defensive game.

Layla Johnson and Zion Knox both added four points while Antonia Carter, Alaina Williams and Aaliyah Mims all scored two points in the win.

VJHS will play Warren Central on Monday.
