Magnolia Apartment shooting leads to four arrests, more expected

PORT GIBSON, Miss. (VDN) — Four suspects have been arrested and additional arrests are expected in connection with a shooting early Monday at the Magnolia Apartment Complex, according to the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 12:05 a.m. on April 21, 2025, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting multiple gunshots fired at the Magnolia Apartment Complex. Shortly afterward, Claiborne County Hospital notified the department that a Black male had arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

During the course of the investigation, authorities identified 12 individuals believed to have been involved in the shooting. As of now, the following suspects have been arrested:

• Jeremiah Jackson
• Malik Taylor
• Dominic Davis
• Kerry Flowers

The case remains an active and ongoing investigation. Additional suspects have been identified, and further arrests are expected, according to the sheriff’s office.
